The Minister of Transport and Communications, Korman Ismailov, participated in the 20th edition of the "Investor of the Year" Awards, organised by the Bulgarian Investment Agency. The ceremony recognises the most significant investment projects implemented in 2025.

Minister Ismailov presented an award to ZS Europe LTD, a subsidiary of Shanghai Unison Aluminum Products, for a €25 million investment in the Trakia Economic Zone in Plovdiv. "May this bull, a symbol of growth and confidence, with its strength bear the shares of all investors in Bulgaria," said Korman Ismailov. The company’s project involves the construction of an aluminum battery production facility and is expected to create over 100 new jobs.
The ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Iliana Yotova; the Deputy Prime Minister for European Funds, Maria Nedina; ministers and deputy ministers from the caretaker cabinet; and representatives of diplomatic missions, the business community, and institutions.
