Invitation for establishment and administration of a Top-Level Domain Registry in Cyrillic - ".бг"
Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (MTITC) starts accepting as of today (1 July 2015) applicants ' proposals for the establishment and administration of registry for a top-level domain in Cyrillic ".бг". The methodology for evaluation of proposals and the requirements for registration have been approved by the Minister Ivaylo Moskovski.
Chronology of the top-level „.бг“ domain registration process
In order to ensure full transparency in the selection process of the applicants to create and administrate a registry of the top-level domain in Cyrillic ".бг", the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (MTITC) brings to your attention a short process chronology so far:
The company "Imena.bg" will register Internet names in Cyrillic ".бг"
The company "Imena.bg" was approved by an expert committee established to the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski. Thus, the organization receives support from the Internet community in Bulgaria to create and administrate a registry of Top Level domain in Cyrillic ".бг".
MTITC experts participated in the planning meetings for the organization of EuroDIG 2015 and a Regional Forum on Internet Governance. Both events will be held in Sofia from the 3rd to the 5th of June.
Earlier this week, Sofia hosted two planning meetings for the upcoming Regional Forum on Internet Governance and EuroDIG 2015, both of which will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria from the 3rd to the 5th of June 2015.
The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (MTITC) is taking the role of an institutional partner of "Unicart" Bulgaria in the planning and hosting of the two events, which are of regional, European and international significance.
