Accelerating the implementation of projects for railways, roads, and digital highways is one of my main tasks. This was stated by the new Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Hristo Alexiev at the acceptance of the management of the Ministry by Georgi Todorov.

Eight teams took part in the Sailing Competition "BORA Sailing Championship - Burgas 2021", which was held in the the Port of Burgas in the weekend. The final round in Burgas was won by a team of Yacht Club Port Varna "Wildcard". The teams "Ultramarine SVC" and "Park mart" took second and third place.

A centralized dispatch system will control in real time the run of trains on the 138-kilometer section from Svetovrachane to Sopot. The first 70 meters of the longest two-pipe railway tunnel ever built in Bulgaria have already been dug. It is 7 km long and is a component of the large-scale Elin Pelin-Kostenets Railway Project, whose implementation started a little over a month ago.

The State will assist Sofia Airport concessionaire in speeding up the throughput mode of Terminals 1 and 2 and avoidance of gathering of many people at one spot.

The repair of the largest passenger railway station in our country is progressing at a good pace, the Minister commented after the inspection.
