The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadzhov held a meeting today with the entire leadership of the Executive Agency “Automobile Administration”. “We all must apologize to foreign drivers who were extorted in an extremely ugly manner by inspectors of the Automobile Administration. They came to Bulgaria to do their job, and encountered corruption and racketeering. This is unacceptable. We should also apologize to the Bulgarian citizens, because Bulgaria’s name was involved in this scandal,” he stated.

The construction of the Ruse-Veliko Tarnovo Motorway is gradually accelerating, and BGN 300 million are expected to be paid to the Road Infrastructure Agency by the end of the year under the Transport Connectivity Programme 2021-2027. Nearly 1,000 buses have already been inspected – road control will continue until the end of the month

The construction of a bridge over the Danube at Silistra is of strategic importance for Bulgaria and the region. Bulgaria and Montenegro set up a working group to prepare an air service between the two capitals

Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Lyuben Nanov said during an event to complete the project "Reconstruction of the track switch layout at Zimnitsa station and rehabilitation of the contact network at Zimnitsa and Straldzha stations." It is part of the large-scale project for the rehabilitation of the Plovdiv-Burgas railway line.

After the entire year 2024 has been missed and the construction in this section has been frozen, we can already see the results of the work resumed in March this year. 1.   Has the airline launched an internal investigation into the specific incident?

2.   Why was safety not considered at risk during two previous flights on 24 July with the same airline and the same mobility aid, while now the opposite is claimed?
