The postage stamp dedicated to the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union will be our country’s visiting card. This was stated by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Ivaylo Moskovski during a ceremony for validation of the special postal-philatelic edition. Minister Moskovski, together with the Minister for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2018, Lilyana Pavlova, the artist of the projects, Todor Angeliev and the Executive Director of Bulgarian Posts EAD, Deyan Duneshki launched in use the postal-philatelic edition.
The ancient ritual "Nestinarstvo" is the theme of one of the post-philatelic editions, which will be put into usage in 2018. The thematic plan for issuing postal products and special postal stamps was approved by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski.
Ensuring a reliable and predictable legal framework for the electronic communications will stimulate the investment in high-speed connectivity and the competition of digital networks and services. The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Dimitar Genovski, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil, HE Ana Maria Sampaio Fernandez and the President of the Union of Philatelists, Spas Panchev presented a postal philatelic edition that will present Bulgaria at the World Philatelic Exhibition in Brazil from 24 to 29 October. The validation ceremony was part of the opening of the International Collector's Fair Bulcollecto 2017 in Pavilion No 7 at the International Fair in Plovdiv.

The edition named “60 Years Bulgarian Astronautics Society”.
All database on existing and planned infrastructure will be gathered within an electronic platform based on geospatial data - "Single Information Point". The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (MTITC) invites mayors from all over the country to attend the Informational day of the initiative of the Council and the European Parliament - WiFi4EU (free access to wireless internet). The purpose of the forum is to acquaint local government representatives with the opportunity to get funding for projects for free access to the World Wide Web. A postcard dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Vassil Levski's birth is from today part of the rich philatelic series of the Apostle of Freedom. The dynamic growth of e-commerce in recent years is a significant factor for the postal sector, that was stated by Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Dimitar Genovski during the talks with representatives of the State Post Bureau of the People’s Republic of China. Next year Sofia will be a digital leader in the region, stated by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski at the closing session of the Digital Assembly, which took place in the period 15 - 16 June 2017, Valletta, Malta. He announced to the forum participants that during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2018, Sofia will host the European Digital Assembly.
The first Bulgarian postage stamp, dedicated to Carl Djerassi' s encyclopedic nature, was validated today. The validation stamp was put by Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Dimitar Genovski, Deputy Minister of Health Svetlana Yordanova and the son of the world-famous scientist Dale Djerassi.
The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (MTITC) launched the elaboration of the Thematic Plan for Issuing of Postage Stamps in 2018. By August 30, 2017 are expected proposals for significant events, anniversaries and celebrations which to be marked by postal-philatelic editions in 2018.

Bulgaria and Ukraine issued the first joint philatelic edition between the two countries' postal administrations. The theme of the edition is related to the preservation of the unique inhabitants of the Black Sea.
